These resources were created and/or curated to support improved employment outcomes for autistic individuals and persons with disabilities. The Employer Resource Quick Guide was a collaboration between the Adult Autism Stakeholders Group and The Sinneave Family Foundation and was written by an autistic author, and the Parent Guide was developed from insights gathered from the Worktopia National Project.
This employer resource highlights key phases of the employment lifecycle. It shares strategies and adjustments that support both employee and employer success.
The Guide was authored by an Autistic self-advocate, and development of the full resource involved extensive engagement with Autistic employees and a range of employers and human resources professionals across Canada.
The Inclusive Workplace is committed to promoting inclusive hiring in Canada. They host resources on finding and keeping work for autistic individuals or who have an intellectual disability. They also host resources for employers who are looking to increase inclusive hiring in their organization.
